RETREAT CANCELLATION POLICY

Please read, because our Retreats or Ceremonies are limited to a small number of attendees.

DEPOSIT

In order to secure your place at one of our retreats or ceremonies, you need to pay a non-refundable deposit or percentage amount as stipulated for each retreat on my website, plus minimal processing fees. You can pay your deposit through bank transfers or Paypal. The rest of the balance is to be paid cash upon arrival at the retreat.

FULL PAYMENT

You also have the option to pay the full amount of your retreat through PayPal or direct bank transfer.

HELD DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays, illness or force majeure. If the cancellation was done the last 30 days prior to our Retreat, and only if we can find a person to book your place, we can exchange the deposit to a different retreat or event of the same type. We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, Force Majeure, natural disaster, etc), but we have costs already incurred when reserving a retreat center and accommodations. To protect yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.

IF WE CANCEL ANY OF OUR PROGRAMS

In the very unlikely case that we cancel any of the retreats/ceremonies/trainings, and provided that the retreat venue refunds our own deposits, we will refund to you all deposits and payments you have paid. We cannot however compensate you for airfare, travel or any other costs incurred like processing fees or currency discrepancies between time of booking and time of refund. In the unlikely event that we must cancel a retreat due to weather, Force Majeure, acts of God, natural disaster, pandemic, or political upheaval, we cannot guarantee a refund – it will be depending on receiving a refund from the venue operator we work with. To cover these risks, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.

FORCE MAJEURE

Neither Party will be liable for any failure or delay in performing an obligation under the Terms and Conditions that is due to any of the following causes, to the extent beyond its reasonable control: Acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, breakdown of web host, breakdown of internet service provider, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, generalized lack of availability of raw materials or energy.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

The best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstance is to purchase cancellation/interruption insurance. Travel Insurance can protect you in case:
• You cancel your participation in one of our retreats;
• The retreat is canceled due to weather, natural disaster, force majeure or not enough participants to run the retreat;
• Lost baggage or personal items;
• Medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured.
